This is a vintage hand-painted porcelain bowl from Japan, dating to circa 1930s–1940s. The bowl features a striking cobalt blue interior with a beautifully detailed phoenix bird perched on a flowering branch, surrounded by vibrant florals in shades of pink, yellow, and green. The outer band is decorated with floral motifs and geometric medallions against a black border, adding depth and contrast.
