Add a touch of vintage elegance to your table with this charming set of 5 Noritake hand-painted porcelain butter pats, dating from the 1920s–1940s. Each petite oval dish features a delicate pansy floral design in soft yellow, green, and blue, accented with a green border and a pale yellow ground.
The undersides are stamped with the green “M” wreath backstamp (for Morimura Brothers), which was used by Noritake for export pieces between the 1920s and 1940s. These little dishes were traditionally used for butter, but they also make wonderful condiment, nut, or trinket dishes.
