This elegant Rambler Rose 35 Sandwich Tray was produced by Glastonbury-Lotus Glass Company in the 1930s. Made in their Rose Tint pink depression glass, this octagonal tray features a central loop handle and a beautifully gold encrusted border with the intricate Rambler Rose etching.
Glastonbury-Lotus was well known for their etched and gold-encrusted glassware, often decorating blanks from companies like Cambridge, Fostoria, and others. The Rambler Rose pattern is one of their most collectible designs, combining delicate floral etching with an elegant rose-hued tint.
This tray was originally used for serving sandwiches, desserts, and pastries, but today it serves equally well as a statement display piece or collector’s treasure.
