This antique covered vegetable tureen was crafted by J&G Meakin of Hanley, England in the late 19th to early 20th century. Made of durable ironstone, it features an elegant scalloped form with embossed details, pastel floral transfers, and hand-applied gold scrollwork. The ornate lid includes a decorative finial handle, and the body rests on a raised footed base, making it a striking example of Victorian serving ware.
