This antique covered sugar bowl (sometimes referred to as a small tureen) is crafted in fine porcelain with gilt decoration and ornate handles, carrying the blue anchor pottery mark on the underside. This mark is associated with English Staffordshire porcelain production during the late 19th to early 20th century.

The “Davenport Longport Staffordshire” backstamp was typically used in the mid-to-late 19th century (roughly 1830s–1887).
